About Us
Clarke Community Federal Credit Union

Clarke Community Federal Credit Union has been serving members since 1969 when the credit union was granted a charter by the Bureau of Federal Credit Unions. CCFCU began as a low income financial institution, serving less than 100 members from the community. In 1996, we opened our new main office and now serve over 8,000 members and have over 200 companies offering automatic deposits with our credit union.

CCFCU's deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund which is administered by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Our asset size is $22 million and continues to grow as we become a full service financial institution, offering new services requested by our members.

Did you know that CCFCU proudly sponsors several community organizations and projects?

Here are just a few of them:

Jeannette Rankin Foundation

Cleveland Rd. Elementary School Credit Union

Making the Right Money Moves/CeMark

Clute Barrow Nelson Life Foundation

Miss Athens-Clarke County Teen Pageant

Athens Area Human Relations MLK Scholarship

Community Partnership Program Clarke County Schools
